- I delight in the small things in life- a breeze blowing across my face, a twinkle in that appears in the eyes of a laughing friend, the stillness of forests in the morning- all of these small delights are the things that refresh my mind and heart. Through photography, I hope to capture images that reflect those things in a new, illuminating perspective. Through education, I hope to teach students the value of those things whether studying the Civil War or story telling. Studying library sciences allows me to create ways to give those things space in our busy, cluttered, and overstimulated culture.
